Beyond these subjects, she holds a fervent interest in specialised areas such as special needs education, parenting, sex education, child sexual abuse, and counselling for pre-teens, teens, and youths in the sphere of relationships and marriage.
Presently, Diki Asawo serves as the Director, Content and Assessment Business Unit in Cinfores Limited, a Nigerian-based company which focuses on ICT solutions for development across diverse sectors including education, health, legal and court systems, as well as electronic campus and school management.
Her academic journey includes a B.Sc in Economics, an M.Sc in Economics, PGD in Management and an ongoing pursuit in PGD in Education and M.Sc in Special Needs Education reflecting her continuous commitment to advancing her knowledge and expertise.
Diki Asawo’s professional development is marked by some specialized training programs covering a spectrum of crucial topics such as blended learning, managing conditions like ADHD, Autism, and concussion in schools, Providing social, emotional, behavioural and special education services in school, overcoming Dyslexia in educational settings, motivating Generation Z learners: what parents and educators need to know, learners and learning, being a teacher, and the integration of data science into educational frameworks.
Additionally, she has delved into educational psychology, project management, and the intricacies of catering to diverse learners’ needs. Beyond her professional endeavours, Diki Asawo is an enthusiastic learner and researcher. She enjoys leisure activities such as reading, travelling and shopping.
Her personal life is enriched by her marriage to Mr. Ibifuro Asawo and their household is graced by four biological children and a foster daughter.
