He is the CEO of Cinfores Limited, a company he co-founded from his time as a student at Rivers State University (formerly known as Rivers State University of Science and Technology) alongside three other friends.
He has continuously steered the company toward greatness through its almost 20 years of existence, making it the foremost Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) company in Nigeria; delivering Innovative Digital Solutions for Client efficiency.
Together with the rest of the Cinfores team, he started the company as a college startup with no funding and went on to build an outstanding organization that collaborates with State and Federal governments, ministries, departments, and agencies, oil and gas companies, academic institutions, multinational ICT corporations, and more.
With the help of God, his network of friends, and associates, he has grown the college start-up company – Cinfores Limited from four friends to seven directors, more than 150 employees, and numerous agents, partners, resellers, and channels across the nation.
He is committed to making the company globally competitive and the leading global brand for ICT innovation and implementation to meet the needs of people in both developed and emerging economies worldwide.
Following his graduation from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering in 2001, Mr. Asawo has pursued a variety of personal and professional development endeavours, including Executive Courses in Driving Strategy & Innovation at the MIT Sloan Business School (2019) and Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from the esteemed Harvard Business School (HARVARDX) in 2021.
He is married to his lovely wife, has four children, and is a minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He enjoys reading, playing football, and table tennis in his spare time.
